YayMail allows you to use the drag and drop builder to add elements to the email builder. Every element represents a block in the email template. You can edit its text and style like in Gutenberg editor.

It’s simple to change the layout, content, and even add multiple columns.

The interface feels like the Elementor page builder with the customizer on the left-hand sidebar and the email sample preview on the right side.

Design shipment tracking notices

In this article example, I will explain how to customize the shipment tracking email template. Ideally, it is just the same method if you want to customize other default WooCommerce email templates too.

Now, let’s make it more beautiful, we can follow these easy steps to make a better design.

Change the Logo

You can change the Logo by clicking on the default WooCommerce Logo and changing it. Alternatively, simply choose a new Icon element, then drag and drop the Logo element to the top layer of the design.

Set the Heading color

This is the color of your Order Title background and it is better to set this based on your website’s color scheme and color consistency.

Personalize some parts of the email content

This is a very cool way to win the hearts of your customers with a touchy and personal email, you can add or edit a “Text” element, then click on the “shortcode” options to see available name shortcodes to add in the text, so as to call each customers name in the email.

Customize the order details

You can change the title text of the tables of purchased items, or billing, and shipping details border color.

Best practices when customizing emails

Make use of shortcode

Shortcodes are dynamic email tags and variables to help output the personal details about your customers and orders.

Use them when you need to display WooCommerce checkout fields or custom fields in the email body.

All you need to do is copy the shortcode you want from the list and then paste it into the email template section where you want it to be.

Send test email before enabling the template

After saving the newly customized email, it’s time to try it out.

YayMail comes with the ability to send a test email. This will show you what your email will look like in recipients’ inboxes. Make sure to check it out on different email clients such as Gmail, Hotmail, and different devices like desktop, Apple Mail app, and so on.

Duplicate template and copy element when needed

Use it to copy a particular email template design and then paste it into a new email option. This allows you to tweak bit by bit and use your design without creating it from scratch all over again.

Email conditional logic with YayMail

Especially, with email conditional logic, you can leverage the offers and send them only to those who meet your requirements. This includes order total minimum spending, which means a coupon code is only sent if the customer has spent a specific sum of money on your store’s products.

Below is a great example of how to take advantage of conditional logic in emails. Use this to send tailored coupon codes for those purchased items from particular product categories.
